What agents ask when they call the South I-35 office, minus the pitch.
Is there an actual office, or is this a website with a phone number?
An office. Texas Ally is headquartered at 2211 S I-35, Suite 208, and Juston Martinez, the managing broker, is based in Austin. If you want to sit down with him in person, call ahead and set a time; otherwise he is a phone call away at 512.586.6920. Most 100% commission brokerages in this market have no office at all; this one does.
How much do I keep on a typical Austin sale?
Nearly all of it. The plan is $99 a month, plus a flat $200 per closed sale and $50 per lease, with no split and no cap. On a $550,000 home at 3%, that is $16,500 in commission and $16,300 in your account. The only thing that moves with price is a small E&O fee on sales above $900,000, which does come up in Westlake and Tarrytown. Juston can give you the exact number on any deal in that range.
I just got my license. Will you sponsor a brand-new agent?
Yes. Newly licensed agents come in on our Guided Start plan, which is built for your first deals: ACTRIS access once you are onboarded, the lead referral programs, and a broker you can reach directly at 512.586.6920 when your first contract lands and you are not sure what to do next. Do I have to join ABoR to get ACTRIS, and what about a Supra key?
Yes. ACTRIS access comes through ABoR's Unlock MLS subscription, so you join ABoR as your primary board and Texas Ally sponsors your membership. Your Supra eKEY is issued through ABoR as well. Dues and the MLS subscription are billed to you directly by the board. Our ABoR and Unlock MLS guide walks through current costs and the application.
How soon after closing do I actually get paid?
The day you close. Once the title company funds, your commission is disbursed the same day, either by check from the office or wired straight to your bank account. No holding period and no waiting for a weekly payroll run.
