About Texas Ally

A brokerage built on integrity, innovation, and true alignment with our agents and clients.

All Major Texas Markets Decades of Experience Agent-Aligned Brokerage

Why Texas Ally Exists

Texas Ally started because the traditional brokerage model wasn't working — at least not for the agents.

The big brokerages offered training, but it was a revenue stream, not an investment in your success. Once you finished, you were on your own. The support disappeared, but the commission splits didn't. Agents were handing over 20, 30, sometimes 40 percent of what they earned to companies that weren't giving them much in return.

The tools were just as outdated as the model. When Juston launched Texas Ally, there were still brokerages running transactions through fax machines. The industry had changed. The way people buy and sell homes had changed. But the brokerages hadn't caught up — and they had no incentive to, because the old model was still profitable for them.

Texas Ally was built to fix that. A brokerage where agents keep what they earn, get real support when they need it, and work with technology that actually matches how the business operates today. Not because it's a better pitch — because it's a better way to run a company.

Joe Martinez

Mentor & Advisor

Joe Martinez spent over 25 years in investment real estate across Texas, with deep expertise in land development, subdivision projects, and residential acquisitions spanning San Antonio, DFW, Austin, and beyond.

His influence on Texas Ally was personal before it was professional. Juston grew up on job sites and in meetings — watching Joe work alongside his own contractors, never afraid to get his hands dirty, then learning to do the same. That education carried through years of working for him directly before Juston launched his own brokerage, and it never really stopped. At Texas Ally, Joe served as a non-MLS broker, the person Juston called for land deals, larger projects, and business model questions. But more than any single transaction, what Joe passed down was a way of working — discipline, character, and the expectation that you live by your principles, not just talk about them.

Joe passed away a few years ago. His influence on Texas Ally and the people in it hasn't.

Juston Martinez

Founder · Principal & Managing Broker

Juston has been licensed since 2008, but his real estate education started long before that — on job sites, in contractor meetings, and riding along to every kind of deal his father would let him sit in on. After years of working alongside Joe and his team, Juston went out on his own — and quickly discovered what the traditional brokerage model actually looked like from the inside. Training programs that were really revenue streams. Support that vanished after onboarding. Commission splits that didn't reflect the work agents were actually doing. That experience didn't just frustrate him — it gave him the blueprint for what Texas Ally would eventually become.

Over the years, he's worked across residential sales, commercial transactions, investment acquisitions, owner-finance transactions, land deals, and creative exit strategies — enough variety to know that no two transactions are the same and no shortcut is worth taking.

The way Juston runs Texas Ally didn't come from real estate alone. From a presidential scholarship and D1 football at Saint Peter's to Dr. Howard Prince's ethical leadership program at UT Austin's LBJ School of Public Affairs, Juston's path was shaped by coaches, mentors, and leaders who all drove home the same thing: principles aren't negotiable, and how you do the work matters as much as the work itself. He continued turning to Dr. Prince for guidance long after, whenever the harder problems showed up. That through line runs through everything at Texas Ally. That's the standard at Texas Ally. Honest business. No shortcuts. No exceptions.

Juston leads the company's day-to-day operations, technology direction, and growth strategy across all major Texas markets — but if you ask him what the job actually is, he'll tell you it's making sure the people around him are set up to succeed.
