Traversing the pond's west end stands an 80' walking bridge marking the beginning of what was recently described as a perfectly functioning wetland by internationally recognized fisheries biologist and Editor of Pond Boss Magazine, Bob Lusk. Facing the front and side yards lies a covered patio with firepit that overlooks a grove of loblolly pines and well-house fed by a low volume fresh-water spring.
